Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 July 2026
Who we are
Smart Solutions Int. ("we", "us") is a digital identity platform and engineering company with main branches in Sydney, Australia and Muscat, Oman. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and how you can contact us about it.
What we collect
Through this website we collect only what you give us and what is needed to run the site:
- Enquiry details — name, email address, phone number (optional), company and your message, when you submit the contact form or email us.
- Technical data — standard web-server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, used for security and to keep the site working.
This website does not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal information.
How we use it
We use enquiry details to respond to you, arrange demos, and provide and improve our services. We use technical data to operate, secure and troubleshoot the site. We may also use your details to meet legal obligations that apply to us.
How the contact form works
Messages submitted through the contact form are delivered to our inbox by a third-party form-delivery service. The details you enter are transmitted to that service solely to deliver your message to us.
Identity documents and biometric data
Our verification products process identity documents and biometric checks on behalf of our customers, under agreements that govern that data. This website itself does not collect identity documents or biometric information. If you have questions about how a business using our technology handles your data, contact that business first, or email us at the address in the next section.
Storage, security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires. Because we operate from Australia and Oman, your enquiry may be handled by team members in either branch.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or raise a privacy complaint by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest revision, and material changes will be posted on this page.
This policy is provided for general information and should be reviewed by your legal counsel before being relied upon. See also our Terms of Use.
